Mississippi Insurance Continuing Education (CE) Courses

State Proctor/Monitor Requirements:

• Exams are required to be monitored by a disinterested third party for Mississippi insurance continuing education.

MS Insurance Continuing Education Online Renewal Requirements:

• 12 hours required annually for Life, Health, and Accident for Mississippi insurance CE
• 12 hours required annually for P/C for Mississippi insurance CE
• Combined L/H and P/C licensees must complete a minimum of 12 hours in their primary line of insurance. Licensees are encouraged to complete 12 hours in their secondary line. Primary line of insurance must be determined by licensee and reported on renewal application
• Adjusters: 12 hours annually

State Specific (required) Courses:

• All courses must be completed for the lines of insurance for which the producer is licensed for MS Insurance CE.
• All Mississippi licensed resident insurance producers who sell federal flood insurance policies shall be required to complete a one time 3 hour requirement on flood insurance.

Mississippi Insurance CE License Renewal Timelines:

• 12/31 annually for L/A&H agents,
• 5/31 annually for P/C agents and adjusters
